Here’s a brief introduction of Moses Fitness.
Fitness has been my passion from an early age. Exercise has changed my life in many ways and I love sharing this passion with others. Educating and inspiring people about their health is one of the most rewarding aspects of my job.
I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh with an emphasis in Exercise and Fitness. While attending UWO I was on the Dean's list with top honors and published a paper entitled, “The Effects of Time Incremented Running on Mood State of College Athletes”.
Shortly after graduation, I decided to become a personal trainer and life coach in one of the healthiest cities in the US and relocated to San Diego after Christmas in 1998. Upon relocating to San Diego, I underwent the course work and testing to become Nationally Certified with the National Strength and Conditioning Association and received his CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification).
Upon relocating to San Diego I quickly starting working in my chosen field at a local 24hr Fitness. I was hired on the spot and during the next five years trained over 400 clients and became one of the top trainers in the company.
Many of my clients became close friends and I continue to stay in touch year after year. With more than five years professional experience at a corporate training facility I realized my true dream was to start my own company, Moses Fitness, which has been running strong for the past ten years.
This past year I received my Functional Diagnostic Nutritionist certification from Reed Davis, Founder, San Diego Natural Health & Fitness Centers Instructor, Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Certification Course.
Functional Diagnostic Nutrition ™ is a holistic discipline that unites functional laboratory assessments with individual Metabolic Typing ® to identify imbalances, dysfunction and underlying conditions at the root of many common health complaints. FDN embraces biochemical individuality while providing a precise methodology and logical sequence to achieving repeatable, consistent and successful clinical outcomes.
